A tram hit a parked tram at the Topcular stop in the Eyup district of Istanbul.

Fourteen passengers were injured when a tram reportedly rammed into a stationary tram at the Topcular stop in Istanbul's Eyup district on March 15, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

From media reports: Ecodibergamo.it reported that air traffic controllers at Orio al Serio International Airport plan a partial strike on Monday, 19 March, in a dispute concerning working conditions.

The strike will run from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., local times.

Passengers are likely to face harrowing times with IndiGo and GoAir deciding to cancel more than 600 flights this month, of which 488 are by IndiGo alone, following grounding of 11 A320 neo planes with faulty Pratt & Whitney (P&W) engines.

The cancellations by the two budget carriers, which operate more than 1,200 flights daily on average, may significantly disrupt the summer schedule. There was no immediate clarity about the way possible compensation and alternative choices would be made available to the passengers already having tickets.

Do not travel within 10 kilometers of the border with Syria or to the city of Diyarbakir.

The situation is more dangerous at night and in rural areas.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all travel to Batterie Beach, north of Toliara (Tulear), where there have been violent attacks including fatalities.

From media reports: BlastingNews.it reported that a 24-hour strike by Rome's public transport company ATAC is scheduled on Thursday, 22 March, in a dispute concerning working conditions.

The strike will affect Rome’s buses, trams, metro and light rail services Roma-Lido, Roma-Viterbo and Termini-Centocelle.

Minimum services are guaranteed from beginning of service until 8:30 a.m. and from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., local times

From media reports: Summerinitaly.com is reporting that some rail workers at Trenitalia and at the high-speed rail operator, Italo, plan to go on 24-hour strike from Thursday, 12 April. The strikes will begin at 9 p.m., local time.

Passengers planning to travel on the affected days are advised to check with their ticket office in advance to confirm whether the strikes will affect their journey.
